We collect only what you choose to submit through our forms. Depending on the form, this may include your name, your father's or husband's name, mobile number, email address, village, block, district, state, age, occupation, skills, availability and — optionally — your Aadhaar number.

If you sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We never receive or store your Google password.

How we use it

• To contact you about Self Help Group formation and membership.
• To organise training programmes, camps and field visits.
• To support bank account opening, SHG–bank linkage and government scheme applications you have asked for help with.
• To respond to enquiries, volunteer registrations and donations.
• To send occasional programme updates if you subscribed to our newsletter.

Aadhaar and sensitive information

Providing your Aadhaar number is optional. Where you do provide it, it is used solely to help complete bank account or government scheme applications on your behalf. We do not share Aadhaar details with any party other than the bank or government department handling your application, and only with your knowledge.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with banks, government departments or partner institutions where doing so is necessary to deliver the service you requested, or where we are required to by law.

Storage and security

Form submissions are stored in a secured database. Access is limited to authorised staff accounts. Images uploaded to the website are stored with our media hosting provider. The site is served over HTTPS.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in when you log in to a staff or member account. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Your choices

Children

Membership is limited to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
