A women empowerment and rural livelihood organisation working village by village across Palwal district, Haryana.
Saathi Livelihoods is committed to empowering women through Self Help Groups, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, livelihood promotion and community development. We work in the villages of Palwal district, Haryana, with women who have skills and judgement but have never had access to formal savings or credit.
The method is deliberately unglamorous. A group of women agrees to save a small fixed amount regularly. They meet on a fixed day, keep their own registers, and support one another. That steady discipline is what gives a group its strength.
Our field team supports each group through formation, record keeping, financial literacy, bank linkage support, skill training and enterprise development. We stay involved well beyond the early months, because that is when the real work of running a business begins.
These are not slogans — each one shows up in how a group is formed, audited and supported.
Open records, open meetings and accounts any member can inspect.
Relationships built village by village over years, not campaigns.
Groups are led, run and represented by the women themselves.
A bank account, a credit history and a fair rate for every member.
Household income gains that lift the whole village with them.
Livelihoods that keep working after our field team steps back.
Every figure below is a woman, a group or a village where daily life changed because of steady savings and shared responsibility.
We work alongside government missions, banks, CSR partners and fellow organisations to reach more villages.
We say what we do and we document what we deliver.
